China’s exports unexpectedly fell in October.
Per data released by the customs bureau (GAC) on November 7:
Exports fell 1.1% y/y, compared to 8.3% growth in September
Imports edged up 1.0% y/y, down from 7.4% growth the previous month
The trade surplus fell to USD 90.1 billion, down 5.9% y/y
