China’s exports surged in September.
Per data released by the customs bureau (GAC) on Monday:
Exports grew 8.3% y/y, the fastest growth rate in six months
Imports unexpectedly shot up 7.4% y/y, the fastest rate of expansion in 17 months
The trade surplus hit USD 90.4 billion, up 10.6% y/y
