China's economy slowed sharply in Q2. Per data released by the stats bureau (NBS) on June 15:
Real GDP grew 4.3% y/y in Q2, down from 5.0% in Q1 and the slowest reading in over three years. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP edged up just 0.9%, down from 1.3% q/q growth in Q1.
