The domestic chip ecosystem just passed a milestone. On June 30, Meituan open-sourced LongCat-2.0, a 1.6 trillion-parameter model trained entirely on a cluster of over 50,000 domestic AI accelerators.
It is the largest model to date to complete full training on Chinese-made chips.
