Hubei province just welcomed a new Party chief. On May 30, Xinhua reported that Guan Zhi'ou, 56, was appointed Party secretary of Hubei, replacing Wang Zhonglin, 62.
Guan becomes the youngest provincial Party secretary in the country. Wang Zhonglin will be reassigned to another position.
