Washington has finally confirmed that China won't be buying 12 million metric tons of soybeans by year-end.
That's according to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who indicated on December 3 that the deadline is (Bloomberg):
"The end of the season, so I think that'll be Feb. 28"
