Beijing implements some tariffs on some EU cognac

On Friday, the Ministry of Commerce (MofCom) announced that it was locking in duties of between 27.3% to 34.9% on EU cognac for five years, beginning July 5.

But there's a carve-out for some of the biggest brands.
