After years of distress, the curtain may finally be falling on Zhongrong International Trust, one of China’s biggest shadow banks.
Zhongrong’s state-appointed custodians – Citic Trust and CCB Trust – have reportedly filed to liquidate the embattled firm after deeming it insolvent (Bloomberg).
