US slaps export control restrictions on Nvidia H20 chips

What happened: In an April 15 SEC filing, Nvidia said the Trump administration has notified the company that H20 chip sales to China will now require an export control license.
As a result, the company will take a massive USD 5.5 billion inventory write-off for those chips.
