On Tuesday, Xi Jinping rang up Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi for a heart to heart.

As per usual, Xi proffered a positive message of cooperation, calling on the two countries to (Xinhua):

“[S]afeguard China-Italy friendship…and set an example for developing the relations...
